  • After two years of informal meetings, the non-profit organisation GAMS Belgium is set up. There are thirty members: African and European men and women. The association doesn't receive any financial aid. Its offices are situated in the apartment of its president's daughter.
  • 1997. First financial aid.
  • 1998. Offices opened on Rue Brialmont, 11 - 1210 St-Josse.
  • 1999. Conference "Ici et Ailleurs".
  • 2000. Brochure on prevention aimed at health professionals
  • 2001. Project "Jammu, une meilleure santé pour les petites filles".
  • 2002. Integrated project to combat genital mutilation (literacy campaign, income-generating activities) in Vélingara, Senegal.
  • 2003. International "Jammu" Conference bringing together politicians, various associations who work to combat female genital mutilation in Africa and in Europe, associations concerned with human rights, with violence perpetrated against women and with equal opportunities.
  • 2004. Participation in the documentary  "Mon enfant, ma sœur, songe à ta douleur"  by Violaine De Villers.
  • 2005. Production of a comic strip "Diariatou face à la tradition". Khadidiatou Diallo, founding President of GAMS is nominated Woman of the Year (Marie Popelin Prize) by the Council of French speaking women of Belgium (CFFB).
  • 2007. GAMS Belgium receives the Micheline Van Caillie-Bertrand Prize 2007 from the Medical Women’s Association of Belgium.
  • 2008. Campaign against female genital mutilation "Pas d’excision pour ma fille"
  • 2008. New location for GAMS on Rue Traversière, 125 1210 St-Josse. Production and presentation of the play "La Chose" by men and women from GAMS.
  • 2008. Financing of the European Fund for Refugees. FER2008.
  • 2009. "Integration et Excision" Project, training of professionals from reception centres for asylum seekers. Coordination of the drafting of the Belgian Guide for health professionals.
  • 2009. Project "Integration and Excision," professional training centers for asylum seekers. Coordinating the writing guide the attention of Belgian health professionals.
  • 2010. Opening an antenna Liège.
  • 2011. Financing of the European Fund for Refugees. FER2011.
  • 2011. Aperture Antenna Antwerp
  • 2012. GAMS obtained in the framework of its permanence in Wallonia, a position EPA to coordinate its activities in Wallonia.
  • 2012. Campaign, giant photo exhibition entitled "Excision, my way of saying no"
  • 2012. GAMS new premises. We move from the street Traversière at 6, rue Gabrielle Petit 1080 Molenbeek.
  • 2012: Creating an account and a Facebook page to promote events GAMS.
  • 2013. Fédasil funding for the position of coordinator of the activities of GAMS in Flanders.
