GAMS is an organisation which campaigns against female genital mutilation.
We are delighted to launch our new multilingual website which is supported by the END FGM project run by Amnesty International Ireland in the context of End FGM European Campagn.
GAMS Belgium is a partner in Amnesty International Ireland's European campaign "End FGM" which aims to persuade the European Union to adopt a definitive strategy to prevent the female genitial mutilation (FGM) of women and young girls in Europe and to protect those who have fled their own country out of fear of FGM.
Set up in October 2008 by GAMS Belgium (Group for the Abolition of Female Genital Mutilation) and with the support of the AIDS and Sexuality Observatory and a support group, this process of concerted strategies in the fight against female genital mutilation (FGM) has two aims: >>
